Note: We sell Galvaneal instead of raw steel for our tops. We stopped selling steel tops when people complained that they rusted, and insisted on replacements. Glavaneal is not pretty, but it won't rust because it has a high zinc content. It has streaks and occasional marks on the surface. You can order it powder painted, but paint can scratch off and looks bad after some usage. Even stainless steel will loose its brushed finish in time. Formica is the best surface for most applications.

Note: BenchPro™ is primarily known for our high quality benches which assemble easily and carry extreme loads. This Roosevelt Series bench is our economy model. We designed it to be the strongest and easiest to assemble of the current economy market offerings.

Even though many companies use this design bench successfully in their production areas, we want to advise the differences. It has left to right steel reinforcing underneath the top and has been tested to hold over 1,600 pounds when the weight is evenly distributed. Even so, it will show minor downward deflection in the the center, especially when loaded heavily.

This bench design, whether made by us or another manufacturer, takes about half an hour to assemble, compared to less than 2 minutes for our other series benches.
