Note: Although our tops and shelves are very water resistant, they are not recommended for use where running water is present or where constant water spills are possible. These type of wet applications require 100% stainless steel tables which are available from lab and kitchen suppliers.
Note: The wider the table, the weaker the table. To counter this, our eight foot wide benches have 66% more steel in the understructure while ten foot wide benches have 207% more steel there. We recommend a Footrest for added stability on 8' and 10' benches.
MAINTENANCE: Always clean ESD bench tops with good ammoniated detergent, rinsing with clear water. Do not use wax or anything that can leave a coating on the laminate since these may adversely affect or modify its electrical properties
All BenchPro™ ESD benches are only available with ergonomic contoured front edges. This way, the ESD laminate conducts the static charges all the way to the steel frame. The steel frame has two wrist strap jacks mounted on the top of the two front legs for convenience. BenchPro™ also provides two grounding wires to take the static from the frame to either an adjoining bench or two ground.
To guarantee a static clear work area, all BenchPro™ ESD bench top have their edges laminated with the same static control laminates as used on the top, while the underside of the tops have a laminated solid aluminum sheet.
Height: All BenchPro™ workbenches are made to each customer's specific requirements. You may select any work height for these benches without incurring an additional charge. We also make them with optional manual height adjustment, crank-up height adjustment, and electric height adjustment system. Custom work is rarely charged. |
