 Short Chair Assembly.  
 
 
1. No tools are required. Unpack the box.  Insert the casters into the base. Turn the base over.
 
2. Drop the gas cylinder into the tapered hole in the base.
 
3. Place the cushion and steel plate over the top of the gas cylinder.
 
4. Remove the large knob on the bottom of the seat plate.  Insert back bar through the steel plate.  Reinsert the knob and washers.  Tighten.
 
5. Reinsert the knob and washers.  Tighten.  Sit down.  Your weight, whatever it is, will lock the two ends of the gas cylinder into place.
